Teaching your children new vocabulary words is an ongoing process from birth all throughout their school years. The key is to expose your children to new words early and often.

Of course reading to your kids every day is the easiest and most effective way to expose them to language at a very early age. As they get older, in addition to educational games, you can incorporate other learning tools to increase their vocabulary such as worksheets, flash cards, and high quality reading programs.

Kids learn better when they are relaxed and having fun, so why not incorporate some fun kids word games into their learning mix? Whether they are just starting to learn to read or they are strong and confident readers, word games for kids can improve their skills - while they're having fun!
